Basic Mustard Recipe: 1/4 cup Mustard Powder, 1/3 cup Olive Oil, 2-3/4 Tbs. Vinegar, Optional: 1/3 tsp. Turmeric & 1/2 tsp. Granulated garlic
Whisk together (no lumps) and pour into a low, wide pan and bring to a quick boil. Reduce heat & simmer on med/low heat 10-15 mins. Stir occasionally or until you reach your desired thickness. Remove from heat and cool. Store in a sealable container in refrigerator. It will thicken as it cools. Keeps 3 months or longer, flavor will mellow a bit over time.
